This is an introductory tutorial on web maps and vector tile basemaps. You’ll learn what vector tiles are, some easy ways of styling and personalizing them, and how to include your custom basemap in a web map. You’ll have a chance to be creative and share your custom map!
Technologies used: Maputnik, MapTiler, MapLibre GL JS

- A computer mouse
- Anything you need to stay comfortable for a 2-hour session
Who Should Attend: Anyone curious about web mapping! No prior experience is required—whether you’re brand new to mapping or already comfortable with spatial tools, you’ll walk away with new skills.
